How much does digitization cost?

Video tapes (VHS, S-VHS, Hi8, MiniDV), audio cassette tapes, CDs, and DVDs are $20 each. 35mm slides and negatives are just $1 per scanned slide or frame. There are no hidden setup fees. Call (319) 209-6832 for custom bulk collection estimates.

How long does digitization take?

Most projects are completed within 2 to 3 weeks. Need your digital files sooner for an upcoming birthday, anniversary, memorial service, or holiday? Expedited rush service is available upon request.

Where is BodhiScan located?

BodhiScan is located at 602 State Street, Suite E1, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. Please enter through the ramp door on the side of the building. We are open Monday through Friday from Noon to 5:00 PM.

Do I have to drop off my media in person?

No! While most Cedar Valley locals prefer dropping off in person, we also offer prepaid shipping labels so you can safely mail your tapes and slides directly to our studio from anywhere in Iowa.

Do you digitize vinyl records or Betamax tapes?

We do not currently offer vinyl record or Betamax tape digitization. We specialize in VHS/S-VHS, Hi8/Digital8, MiniDV, audio cassettes, CDs, DVDs, and 35mm slides/negatives.
